FRACTIONAL
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What
is Fractional Ownership and how does it work?
Originally developed in the mid 1980’s, the
concept of shared or fractional ownership of private
aircraft is a proven and widely chosen method of
private aircraft ownership. You receive all the benefits
of private jet ownership at a fractional of whole
private jet ownership costs. An individual or company
purchases a share, or more accurately an ownership
interest in a private jet without assuming maintenance
or management responsibilities that come with owing
your own aircraft. The level of investment is directly
proportional to the amount of flight time that meets
your travel requirements. You purchase only as much
flight time as you need to meet your travel requirements.
Fractional ownership of a private jet, especially
with Global Jet Shares, is truly hassle free.
Global Jet Shares provides professionally trained
pilots, maintenance, hangar, insurance and scheduling.
Additionally, Global Jet Shares provides expert aircraft
management services associated with the ownership
of your jet. Global Jet Shares manages everything
concerning the care and operation of your ownership
interest. Your private jet is available 24 hours
a day seven days a week. The ownership experience
is truly “turnkey” and hassle free. Scheduling
of your trip with one simple phone call.

[back
to questions]
How
do I know if fractional ownership in a Global Jet
Shares Gulfstream is right for me?
Fractional ownership is best for those companies
or individuals who fly between 50 and 400 occupied
hours a year. One should consider the total capital
required for an investment in whole private jet ownership
compared to the greatly reduced capital and recurring
fees associated with fractional ownership with Global
Jet Shares. Global Jet shares can perform a detailed
trip analysis for you to help determine your occupied
hours per year. Require less hours? We have the solution -
MyJet® Exclusive Jet Membership program is ideal
for those requiring large cabin, long range aircraft but only flying 25 – 100
hours annually. Global Jet Shares MyJet® Program provides exceptional value at
a price roughly one-half of that provided by the competition.
[back
to questions]
What
are the benefits of ownership with Global Jet Shares
versus other providers?
We invite you to look at other providers of fractional private aircraft services.
Considered on different levels, such as initial investment, fixed cost or monthly
management fee, variable or hourly rate, term and commitment, service, history of
flight operations, type of FAA certification, industry certifications, personnel
and commitment to safety and service, Global Jet Shares provides a fractional private
jet product of exceptional value. No where else can you find the ability to fly in a
large cabin, 12-14 passenger, transcontinental range private jet for the cost of a
mid cabin jet of the competing programs. Similar cost and service benefits are
also available through our MyJet® program.

What
safety equipment is on board Global Jet Shares
aircraft?
Safety in private aviation starts with the management company processes
and procedures for pilot selection and training to computerized maintenance
and more importantly the management and employee philosophy of an overall
commitment to safety. Global Jet Shares policy to safety includes how every
Gulfstream aircraft is configured. Through JetSierra West, operating to FAA Federal
Aviation Regulation Part 135 requires certain safety equipment or avionics be present
on board for safe navigation, traffic separation and aircraft operations at a higher
level than that required for most other fractional operators. Specifically, our commitment
to safety is at a level of that that one would find with a U. S. scheduled airline. This
includes policies such as: Additional crew training, safer crew rest requirements, regular
crew drug testing, required crew background checks for pilots, mandatory recruitment
training procedures, stricter runway length requirements, stricter weather minimums,
stricter maintenance requirements, FAA certification and oversight of aircraft and equipment,
stricter continuous and periodic or recurrent training, requirements for continuous auditing
and surveillance by the Federal Aviation Administration and higher security requirements.
All Global Jet Share Gulfstream GIII aircraft are equipped with upgrades to their already
advanced avionics to include systems to reduce pilot workload, efficiency and increase
situational awareness of aircraft systems, navigation, weather and traffic as well as
meeting federal regulatory requirements.
